Why exactly do you need to know hangover cures. Did you drink too much? Are you dreading to have a hangover? This isn’t really backed by science, but it’s a weird way to forget you have a hangover. f you have sex, your body and mind is too occupied to remember you’re suffering from a wild night. So if you’re struggling the next morning, hopefully you brought someone over form last night and go have fun!

The whole, “Sweat It Out” method is actually a myth. Alcohol is metabolized in your body pretty quickly. Drink plenty of water and go out for a walk. It’ll help your body to start functioning properly again. Don’t overdo it if you’re not an avid exerciser to begin with. You can even just start by stretching your body.

Coffee is a stimulant and a diuretic. If you’re suffering from too much alcohol the next day, then a cup o’ joe will wake you up. There is some concern about caffeine and alcohol, so if you still feel drunk from the night before, don’t use this method.

Greasy Foods

There’s no food that will help your hangover the next day. However, what you eat before and while drinking may have some impact on how your hangover is the next day. I guess people naturally figured this out as most bar foods are greasy. I say pizza, wings, and bacon are good choices to eat before and while drinking!

Although there isn’t a magical food that can immediately stop the feeling, crackers or dry toast can help you bring your blood sugar levels back to normal after a wild night of drinking. Your liver is busy metabolizing the alcohol which is why it can’t stabilize your blood sugar which causes the symptoms of a hangover. Crackers or toast will help speed up that process!

Miso Soup

Miso soup is a great cure for a hangover. For those of you who don’t know, miso soup is a soy paste soup commonly enjoyed in Asia. You’ll most likely find it in your nearest asian super market. Miso soup is good because it helps the liver process the alcohol and replenishes lost nutrients. The soup acts as a quick detox as it contains vitamins like B2, B12 and E. The enzymes found in the soup can also help your hangover woes.

Alka-Seltzer is a fizzy drink that has been used as a hangover cure for almost as long as it’s been in existence. Alka-Seltzer contains odium bicarbonate (Baking Soda) which neutralizes the acids in your stomach. This is why it’s great in helping you get over your hangover!
